Hongjiao Li
Hongjiao Li is a Ph.D. student in Education Policy and Social Context at the UC Irvine School of Education. She holds a master’s degree in International Education Policy Analysis from Stanford University and bachelor’s degrees in Education Sciences and Business Economics from UC Irvine. Her research examines how higher education policies shape student success and equity in postsecondary education, with a focus on college-to-career transitions and students’ educational and labor market outcomes. Drawing on perspectives from the sociology and economics of education, she conducts state-level policy analyses using quantitative and quasi-experimental methods. Her recent work also explores how AI and educational technology are reshaping teaching, learning, and workforce preparation, and how higher education systems can better support students in navigating these changes.
