Ascendium Education Group awards Di Xu and team $1.6 million grant to investigate noncredit workforce training programs

The $1.6 million Ascendium Education Group grant supports From Training to Employment, a multi-inquiry study led by Di Xu through HERA's partnership with the Virginia Community College System. The project examines the Workforce Credential Grant funding model, the labor-market value of industry credentials, program supports and bottlenecks, and differences between noncredit and credit-bearing pathways.
